Star stable star coin codes 2020 august3/20/2024 ![]() ![]() ![]() The game marketing wants you to put around 65 bucks (for the 5000 Star Coins “deal”) into it a month due to pricey horse mount cosmetics that have no purpose in the game other than being pretty and this is being marketed towards children is deeply unsavory. I would have no issue with the monetization of this game with the cosmetic horse mounts coming out every month 3 to 6 at a time if, and only if it was marketed towards adults. These are pets that do nothing but run alongside your character and cost up to 30 bucks! (There is a buy to play option (lifetime) and a pay to play option (subscription,) plus micro-transactions for gear, equipment, expanding stables, and abilities such as leading your horse.) And every horse you buy (another micro-transaction) in addition to your starter horse (that’s free) is literally the cost of another AAA game if you don’t buy a “package deal.” (And even the package deals add up quickly.) As are some of the “run beside” pets. The game is riddled with micro-transactions (and glitches) despite it’s higher than AAA price rating. So the last substantial story quest was “Save Anne” in February of 2019. The last “main story” quest of any significance was the light ride in November of 2019, which took about 10 minutes and was in no way substantial. (Oh and take pretty pictures with their new camera function.) This is as true in 2021 as it was in 2018. Once you reach the end of the “story” as far as they’ve progressed, there is literally nothing to do other than race horses and grind. The game is at best at Early Access level or even Beta level and you, the player, is not and as far as I can tell, are never going to be, the hero of the story. The game has spiders and snakes (2 of the top phobias in the world.) The story is inconsistent. Star Stable is an incomplete “MMO” but actually single player racing “adventure” game with mobile stylized fantasy game level graphics (aka 2005 level graphics) and a lot of male and meme and in game referential humor that doesn’t last and in fact isn’t funny. So, dear parents and potential players of Star Stable, a brutally honest review from an adult Female Gamer. I’m done supporting this game even passively. Over the last week (June 2018), I have been patronized and disrespected and asked multiple times to violate a clear stated boundary and given that this is a very long (and I do mean going back years) pattern of behavior to their player base. (I want horse games that have fashion and MMO quest mechanics and crafting/housing and pretty high level GW2 graphics DAMN YOU.) ![]() And I was willing to keep my support up floating around this blog despite this blog being about my books and my writing because gaming is that important to me too. That games that have girls as a target market are worthy of just as much money and development time as big AAA games marketed for boys. I want them to succeed so that Game Developers can see that “games for girls” don’t have to be dress-up flash games or super short “Vet” games. But I’ve stuck with it, keeping an eye on the train wreck because I honest to God do wish this game well. I’ve been increasingly frustrated with the game as time goes by and they keep giving the players just enough content to keep the complaints down. The reviews that have brought me traffic to this blog daily. I am or have removed my previous reviews of all their games that say they’re a great game. I am or have taken down the Star Stable Diaries. I’m withdrawing my support for this game.
